Chuck Bannister Named Senior Vice President

Recently, South Georgia Banking Company promoted former Vice President, Chuck Bannister, to the position of Senior Vice President.  Bannister handles Commercial Lending responsibilities at SGBC’s Moultrie office.

“This was a well deserved promotion for Chuck as he has been a great asset for the Moultrie office,” said Bob Montgomery, City President.  “Chuck is a skilled commercial loan officer and has a substantial loan portfolio and a loyal customer base.  He has played a major part in our growth in Colquitt County.”

Chuck is a Moultrie native and has been part of the banking industry for nearly twenty-five years. He’s worked for SGBC for nine years and feels his promotion exemplifies the support he’s received throughout his employment with the bank.

“I have received tremendous support from the management at South Georgia Bank,” said Bannister. “The relationships I’ve built with the staff as well as with my customers make South Georgia Banking Company a special place to work.”

Chuck is a member of the Kiwanis Club, past president of the YMCA board and is a member of First Presbyterian Church. In his free time, he enjoys running and spending time with his family, especially at his children’s soccer games.
