Brinson Brock, city president of SGBC Ashburn and Moultrie Technical College Board Member, along with SGBC employee and Ashburn-Turner County Chamber Chairman, Donna NeSmith were recognized as major contributors in the effort to achieve Governor Perdue’s Work Ready Status for the Ashburn community. Dr. Tina Anderson, Moultrie Technical College President, Chamber President Shelley Zorn, Brock, and NeSmith accepted a grant check in the amount of $10,000 from the State of Georgia for the Work Ready Initiative. Many of the Ashburn branch employees took the time to be tested for the certification.
