What is South Georgia Banking Company Mobile Banking?

Mobile Banking gives you access to your accounts from a downloadable Mobile Banking application or your mobile web browser, depending on your preference and your mobile device capabilities. Both options allow you to: view account balances, search recent account activity, transfer funds, pay bills and find nearest branch locations.

Mobile Banking is available to all SGBC customers who have an active Online Banking account. Not signed up for SGBC Online Banking?  Just click here to register for Online Banking; then you will be able to access Mobile Banking too! 

How do I download the Mobile Banking application?

For iPhone or iPad:

Is Mobile Banking supported on my tablet?

The same mobile app that runs on your phone will run on your tablet. In some cases, a tablet-optimized Mobile Banking application may be available for your tablet.

What if I donít have an iPhone or Android -  can I still utilize SGBC Mobile Banking?

Yes! SGBC offers a web-enabled browser that provides the same service as the app.  First, just as with the mobile app, you must have a registered account with SGBC Online Banking.  You can enroll your device using one of two methods:

From your Mobile Device Ė go to and login with your Online Banking User ID and Password

From a PC - Sign in to Online Banking from your computer and choose the Mobile Banking option. Enroll your mobile device and follow the activation instructions.

To optimize your mobile web experience, ensure your device's browser has cookies enabled. In addition, enable style sheets for the best viewing experience.

Text Banking is another option for receiving a quick report on your SGBC accounts; any text-enable phone can use this service.  Learn more by clicking here.

What are Mobile Alerts and how do I sign up for them?
Mobile Alerts can notify you via text message of certain changes to your account such as deposits made, low balance & transfers.  You must first log in to your Online Banking account and enroll your phone in SMS / Text Banking.  Next, go to your Online Banking Alert Page where you can specify what type of changes to your account you want to be notified about. This service works for all text-enabled phones.
